The LSS Buena Vida Adult Day Center provides:
well-planned social activities, exercise, crafts, music and field trips
nutritious meals and snacks
health care supervision
transportation to and from the center
Why adult day care?
For disabled adults of all ages or seniors who live alone or with a caregiver, participation at an adult day center helps prevent feelings of isolation and depression.
Buena Vida is ideal for those who need assistance with daily living but do not need nursing home care.
This program can be a cost-effective alternative to live-in care and may prevent premature, expensive nursing home placement.
Adult day care allows family members who provide care to go to their jobs or attend school, knowing that their loved ones are among friends and cared for by loving, trained members of the community.
No fee is charged to individuals who receive Medicaid/Supplemental Security Income and have a medical need documented by a physician.

LSS Adult Day Center receives designated contribution s from theUnited Way and and support from the Area Agency on Aging in El Paso, and is licensed by and receives reimbursement from the Texas Department of Human Services for assistance provided to eligible recipients.
