Plano
attorney named to
Lutheran Social Services board
AUSTIN, Texas
- Plano attorney Bryan K. Gallerson, of the law firm
of Spigner & Gallerson, P.C., was recently appointed
to the board of directors of Lutheran Social Services,
a multi-faceted social service agency.
With an annual operating
budget of more than $79 million LSS serves more than
35,000 children, elderly and poor throughout Texas,
Louisiana and Mississippi each year.

that Bryan is serving on our board said Dr.
Kurt Senske, chief executive officer of LSS. His
genuine concern and compassion for those in need and
his leadership abilities make Bryan a perfect fit
for our organization.
Selection for the board
is based on demonstrated interest, expertise and involvement
in serving the Lutheran Church through its social
ministries. The 16 members of the LSS board have a
three-year tenure and are responsible for the overall
management of the agency and for determining its policies.
LSS Metroplex programs
include the Nelson Childrens Center in Denton,
which helps children with severe behavioral and emotional
problems, and adoption and foster care services.
Gallerson earned his
bachelors degree in electronics engineering
with honors from Southern University, and his law
degree from Texas Southern University. He and his
wife, Paulette, and their three children, are members
of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Plano.
Lutheran Social Services
of the South is the social service arm of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America and The Lutheran Church
- Missouri Synod. LSS annually serves more than 35,000
children, elderly and poor in Texas, Louisiana and
Mississippi regardless of religious beliefs, ethnicity,
gender or age. Its ministry includes childrens
residential treatment, foster care, adoption, emergency
assistance, health care and retirement centers for
seniors, adult day care and disaster response.
