The Greens of Kruse
Village,
so named because it has its own putting green, is
the newest addition to the
retirement community operated by Lutheran Social Services.
The 1,400-plus square-foot
residences, called The Texas, are the largest independent
living residences at Kruse Village. Each features
a two-car garage, covered terrace, two bedrooms and
two full baths.
The master bedroom includes a sitting area and walk-in
closet.
All but one of the current
cottages have been leased, but plans call for more
to be constructed in the near future, although a construction
date has not been set as yet. "We eventually
will have 26 of the newest cottage residences,"
said David Hastings, executive director of Kruse Village.
Kruse Village is a full-service
senior community in Washington County, Texas, between
Houston and Austin. It offers independent living,
assisted living, skilled nursing care and dementia
care.
