Precious gifts arrive
through LSS adoption program
March 2008

The LSS adoption program has placed 7,000 children with loving parents since the 1940s.

Michael and Brenda McFarland (left) adopted three of them - Samuel (top), in 1996, Luke (between his parents) in 1997 and Micah (lower right) in 2005.

Recently, LSS received an email from Brenda McFarland who said:

"You have no idea how grateful we are to LSS for helping us to build our family this way. Our boys are the joy of our lives and we love them so much.

Michael and I often speak of how we just can't believe that we have been to Russia three times and returned with such precious gifts from God. Each trip had it's own ups and downs, but the outcome was always the same ... LSS staff held our hands and walked us through the entire way."  

I only wish that every child could have the opportunity for a forever family no matter where they are born or where they live. The work that you all do with, and for children, is marvelous."

It has been such a pleasure to be associated with a group of caring, Christian professionals."
